Notice to all Hogwart's Students
The next Hogsmeade weekend is fast approaching and with that I would like to remind you of a few rules.
1. Only third years and above are able to attend these trips and only with parental or guardian approval. If I do not have your permission slip on file you will not be allowed to attend.
2. Please keep in mind the list of unapproved items not allowed on Hogwart's premises from Zonko's Joke Shop. Each student will be searched upon re-entering the school ground and any items on this list found to be upon your person will be confiscated.
3. Remember that each and every one of you represents Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As such you are to be on your best behavior.
The next trip to Hogsmeade is planned for February 4th and 5th.

Notice to all Hogwart's Students
It has come to my attention that several of the 'Living Dead' are returning to life in the exact location of their demise. Taking in consideration the large amount of deaths that have happened on Hogwart's grounds several teachers have picked up a we are taking into account new security measures. All passwords have been changed and will continue to change on a weekly basis instead of on their usual month to month basis. You may procure these passwords from your head of house, head boy, head girl or house prefects. Please do not under any circumstances write these passwords down.
I would also like to take this opportunity to announce the newest additions to our staff here at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please welcome Lily Potter as our new Potions Master, Nymphadora Lupin as our new Transfiguration professor and Remus Lupin as our new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. They have been gracious enough to accept the positions and give additional help with security measures. They are to have your utmost attention and respect.
Hogsmeade weekends are tentatively reinstated, but may be revoked at any time.

Notice to all Hogwarts Students
Until further notice all trips to Hogsmeade have been canceled. Students are to stay on the grounds at all times. Any student caught off grounds or out past curfew will be dealt with accordingly. Any questions regarding this new policy may be addressed to me in person.
